The State Ensemble of Song and Dance "Mhedruli" is one of the most dynamic and masterful ensembles in Georgia.
In Georgian, “Mhedruli” means “Horseman Warrior”—the inspiration behind the ensemble’s iconic dance, known for its fiery temperament, unique technique, and dazzling artistry, which will be performed live on stage!“Mhedruli” is also the name of one of the oldest scripts in the world, still used in Georgia today. It is recognized by UNESCO as part of the World Cultural Heritage, along with Georgian polyphonic singing, which will take your breath away at the ensemble’s concerts.Founded in 2002, the Mhedruli ensemble has held State Ensemble status since 2011. It has received wide acclaim in Turkey, Italy, Greece, the Czech Republic, Austria, France, Germany, Ukraine, and achieved massive success in China with a 31-concert tour of sold-out venues.
The show presented to Bulgarian audiences is titled "The Spirit of Georgia"—a performance about the country’s history, legends, and love for God, Women, and Mothers.We are certain that audiences will be captivated by the skill, energy, and passion of the dancers, singers, and musicians, as well as by the stunning costumes, lighting, and sound.Experience the magic of "The Spirit of Georgia"—where every note tells the story of Georgia’s rich cultural heritage.
