Sofia Art Fair 2025 – The second edition of the international contemporary art fair in Sofia.
Sofia Art Fair (SAF) is the first international fair for contemporary art in Bulgaria, created with the mission of placing the country on the global cultural map. Following its successful debut in 2024, the event returns for a second edition under the motto
IMAGINE – an invitation for artists, the public, and institutions to dream together of new models for cultural development, sharing, and exchange.
From October 2 to 5, 2025, at Sofia Tech Park, Sofia Art Fair will gather participants from Bulgaria, France, the Netherlands, Hungary, Italy, Austria, Spain, the Czech Republic, Romania, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Latvia, and more, presenting over 80 contemporary artists. The format includes an exhibition program, curatorial projects, a video and digital zone (AR/VR), guided curator tours for visitors, a special kids’ area for creative workshops, and the international educational forum SAF Talks.
With the large-scale participation of international galleries and artists, Sofia Art Fair creates opportunities for dialogue between established and emerging artists, building a platform for encounters among the public, professionals, collectors, institutions, and the media.
The event supports the development of the Bulgarian art scene, cultural diplomacy, and long-term international partnerships, placing a strong emphasis on innovation in art, education, and accessibility to culture for all ages and audiences.
