This performance explores the timeless themes of corruption and fraud, the pursuit of shortcuts and tricks that promise social or financial gain. Spirituality is left in the background in favor of personal benefit. The means of achieving that benefit are seen as justified—even if ruthless. This brief overview of the play’s subject matter reflects issues that are highly relevant in today’s society. And while some truths may seem obvious, they can often be quite unpredictable.

Is everything really as it seems? And are we capable of recognizing when it’s not?
People see what they know—but what lies beyond knowledge?

It is this lurking mystery and the intrigue surrounding it that form the foundation of the performance.
